Inclusive mentoring is a key element of building an academic community where faculty, scholars, and students can all thrive. Mentoring can be a catalyst for the launching of successful careers both within and beyond the academy. For faculty, it is a key to sustaining the pipeline of excellent talent that enhances the intellectual community and also broadens possibilities for each faculty member’s own research agenda. The Office of the Provost offers a workshop titled “Inclusive Mentoring in Academia" for faculty, postdoctoral associates, researchers and graduate students.
